Football Weight Standards
- Ages as of 8-1-2012 |
All weights listed are in English measurement pounds. Each player has a weight allowance of gaining no more than one pound every
week, during the regular season. No weight gain is allowed for post season
play.
It is the policy of the Redwood PAL Golden Bears to have the child play at the lowest
possible team level. Example: if a player is 12 years old and weighs 125 pounds,
they could be either a Junior Midget or a Midget. It is our policy that they
play at the Junior Midget level.
The Redwood PAL Golden Bears Athletic Director will make the final decision on which
squad each football player will play.
